Winter-green Resort in Nelson County is having one its best seasons in years. Officials say Wintergreen has already had more snow this winter than in any of the past 13 years and is seeing about 20 percent more skiers than it did last year. They also say the Liberty University Snowflex facility also has been good for Wintergreen because it gets people interested in snow sports and in trying the real slopes.
