Thousands still in dark after weekend snow storm Appalachian Power Sunday was in the process of turning the power back on for about 12-thousand customers following the weekend storm. A company spokesman says power is expected to be returned to all by Tuesday night. Appalachian crews were working to restore electricity to 97-hundred homes and businesses in Henry County. There were also about one-thousand customers out in both Patrick and Franklin counties.
