Randolph College to build new track & field complex
Randoph College breaks ground today on a more than five-million-dollar track and field facility. According to the "News & Advance", the project is being funded through a five-point-six-million-dollar bond from the Amherst County Industrial Development Authority. The new facility will be located next to the school's Physical Education and Recreation Building. It will feature an eight-lane, 400-meter track and synthetic turf field, as well as permanent seating, lighting, press box, concession, and restroom area. The project is slated for completion by late fall.
